The Bishops,
Haslemere, Surrey
This Arts and Craft home was in the middle of an extensive refurbishment, I was called in to create flower beds and link areas of the extensive grounds with paths and lawns. The property already had large York Stone patios to the rear and as the client liked to
reclaim materials we purchased a large fountain to be a focal point in the rear garden which links nicely with the paving.
The client purchased a natural slate ‘ball’ water feature at The Chelsea Flower show for the front drive. To emphasise this I added tall Eleagnus Ebbingii’ lollipop’ trees for their ball shape and also underplanted these with Hydrangea ‘Annabel’ which also have large white round flowers.
The planting was relaxed with grasses and late season perennials.
