Sustainable Planting
& Meadows

Here are a few examples of planting I have been asked to do over a number of years. I prefer to plant sustainably, to me this means plants that will stand the test of time and not wither away after a few seasons. There is a movement at the moment to plant for the future,

using native meadow planting and non native perennial planting. This is a more cost effective way of planting large borders and with this method maintenance is reduced. However, it is important to bring this style of planting into small spaces, in towns and cities to not only engage us with the natural rhythm of life but also to help bolster the insect life which is sadly on the decline.

What enthuses me is the sheer joy that planting brings to each of us, it can stimulate our senses and bring joy to our hearts.
