Healing Garden Design Sussex

Dowsing the garden

Using my dowsing rods I found quite a dark key line running through the garden and the house. There were lots of Sha streams (negative energy) lines as well  but also some nice’ high vibing’ Chakra points. All of this is quite common for a garden this size and all can be healed with earth acupuncture.

I walked around the garden once the dowsing was done and started to have feelings of anxiety and suppression, a real blocked energy going on. It wasn’t unpleasant but really noticeable.

I am very fortunate with my job as a Healing Garden Designer to work in some lovely gardens throughout Brighton and Sussex. I find all gardens have their different energy with problems with key lines, dark underwater streams but also positive energies especially when gardens have been created with love and natural harmony.

Recently a client invited me to their garden and it was a really interesting project for myself and the client’s family.

Garden in Ditching, East Sussex

This house and garden lies at the foot of the South Downs  in a small village just outside Ditchling in East Sussex. The property house is very large and sits in 4 acres of garden. For such a large property it is quite hard to find with a very small entrance opening up to a circular drive around an ornate fountain. On arrival I felt a strange sense of anxiety, a feeling that I shouldn’t be there.

Meeting the client was lovely and very open to my work, her father who owned the house had passed away 2 years previously and she wanted to turn the house and grounds into a retreat centre. She led me around the garden and then let me get on with my assessment.

Meditating in the garden

Often when I get these extra sensory feelings I often stop and meditate for five minutes to get more ‘answers’. It didn’t take long for the messages to come through. I opened my eyes then looked at the garden from a different perspective. It was easy to see what was going on, the garden had blocked energy everywhere, any nice planting was hidden or behind buildings or hedges. The planting was quite minimal, really lacking in abundance. For such a lovely setting the garden had no cohesive plan and no areas were linked. I had a feeling that the garden didn’t want to be seen which made me understand why I got quite anxious when I drove into the drive.

Explaining my thoughts with the client

Over a nice cuppa I explained to the client of what I had found regarding Ley lines and Sha stream and started to express my other feelings.I sensed that whoever made the garden wanted to hide it all away and was very wary of showing their wealth.I also sensed that a project that was started but never really got  finished. As I was talking the client started to get very emotional and started to cry.

She said her father was raised in a very poor family and through very hard work built a successful business and the house and garden was his pride and joy. She said he found it hard to express his wealth and didn’t want to put anything on show.

This I understood, but the garden was telling me it needed releasing, not to ‘show off’ but simply to get the energies moving  to create more abundance. Having money is just having lots of energy and it also stagnates if not used, it also needs to flow.

The plan

After my meeting the client discussed my thoughts with her siblings and they agreed  to a garden design plan over the next 3 years to release the energy and create a more expansive garden for all to enjoy.

Conclusion

What I really learnt from this garden is to embody my intuition or  ‘gut feelings’, which we all have.

Sometimes just being still in a place can make you access those higher dimensions. Having the practical garden design skills to create a garden is great but when accessing stillness often the answers naturally come.
