The Old Rectory, Barcombe
The Old Rectory is a garden where we have done extensive work over the years, installing mass ornamental grass and perennial planting to the front of the property. To the rear we have built a walled vegetable garden using traditional flint and built a cedar greenhouse.
We have landscaped the rear garden to have areas to meander, sit and contemplate. An old swimming pool was revived with a terrace of ‘Downton Stone’ and we worked closely with the builders on the design of the new Pool House. To the rear of this we planted a mini orchard with meadows.
Working closely with the Woodland Trust we now have permission to plant 4000 native trees to create a woodland green belt around the property.
